Teaching Interests
Before moving to Worcester, I led a campus-based Masters in Dementia delivering modules that focused on Culturally sensitive care, Managing complex Transitions, and Communication in dementia care. I also led undergraduate modules teaching Ageing and Well-being and Behaviour and Health. I have also delivered training for national organisations to promote person centred care. My work within dementia teaching has been alongside experts by experience and I will be co delivering the Person Centred leadership module as part of the Post Graduate Certificate in Person Centred Dementia Studies.
I also supervise PhD students on areas of Ageing in Rural communities, supported communication, and support for carers from minority groups.
