Pauline has been a Physiotherapist for over 15 years. She has spent the majority of her clinical practice in musculoskeletal outpatients and sports.

Pauline has been working in higher education teaching across BSc and MSc programmes in Germany and the UK since 2013. She is passionate about patient-centred care and bridging the research to practice gap.

In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, running, cycling, and rock climbing.

Research Interests

In 2023 Pauline completed her PhD at the ºüÀêÊÓƵ of Birmingham with the focus on exercise-induced hypoalgesia. Her research explored how exercise can influence pain sensitivity in people with chronic low back pain.

Pauline has presented her research at national and international conferences.
